Data-related tasks critical to senior housing investment, market research, and operations are very important for senior housing leaders but can be cumbersome and time-consuming for their teams. These tasks are easily automated through NIC MAP Vision's AI Skills platform.

Background

Many tasks that operator, investor/lender, broker, and numerous other personas perform are time-consuming, error prone, and inefficient because they require someone to engage in manual analysis or challenging comprehensive thinking.

For tasks that are more creative in nature, workers at these companies face the roadblock of the blank page – they have to generate these from the ground up. The slow, laborious process of generating these plans creates cost and delays that drag down their performance.

For tasks that are more analytical in nature, workers at these companies have to manually handle data that came from a third party – meaning that they are usually manually reviewing submitted documents. This analysis is slow, inefficient and error-prone.

To help participants in the space become more efficient at these operational tasks, NMV has introduced Skills – a library of automation tools that allow a user to ask the NMV platform to perform “first draft” tasks. Users will be able to provide specific inputs to the tasks and the Skill will then produce a customized output to address their need. The user will be able to export this as a Word or Excel document and then modify it as appropriate.

Technical Background

NIC MAP Vision AI Skills leverages artificial intelligence through a large language module. Essentially, Artificial intelligence (AI) is a machine’s ability to perform the cognitive functions we usually associate with human minds.

Large Language Models (LLMs), like GPT-4, are trained to understand and generate human-like text. They can process large volumes of text and deliver information, answer questions, or even create content in a coherent and contextually appropriate way.

By leveraging these solutions, AI Skills allows user to interact with the module in a natural way, rather than needing to have technical expertise. Users can enter descriptions, ask questions, and ingest data as if they were discussing with a human, rather than AI.
