Providers give operators the ability to identify strategic providers in their market. This data will allow visibility into the total set of providers within a specified market, the quality of those providers, and the communities they serve. This will enable operators to identify opportunities to consolidate to a single provider across service lines and evaluate providers against each other by considering the value-added services.

Providers is found within the Site Details and Property Advisor report. The following types of providers will be included in search results: Home Health, Hospice, Pharmacy, and Professional. Home Health and Hospice providers have a "service footprint" that is gathered from CMS; multiple "service" zip codes are associated with each provider. If a market area encompasses a zip code that matches a zip code in the service footprint, the provider will appear in the search results. Pharmacies and all other provider types will appear in the search results if the provider has treated at least one resident at a building in the Site Area within the most recent period of our healthcare dataset.

Data for "Communities Served" is updated monthly for Home Health, Hospice and Professional providers. Pharmacy provider data is updated annually.

Provider results can be filtered by hospice, home health, pharmacy, and professional. The pharmacy and professional filters have additional sub filters.

Provider results can be sorted by provider name, resident count, or quality rating (in either ascending or descending order). CMS uses a variety of techniques to develop quality scores for certain types of providers and makes them public on CMS’s website. NMV makes these scores available in the platform for Home Health and Hospice. These ratings are updated quarterly.
