History of NIC MAP Vision

Twenty years ago, obtaining useful data for the senior housing industry was difficult - gathering intelligence and navigating the industry was a challenging task. In 2004, a platform was formed to offer more transparency and clarity in this industry, and NIC MAP Vision was born (originally known as NIC MAP Data Service).

Over the years, the platform established itself as the epitome of excellence for senior housing performance data. In 2016, a separate platform (then called VisionLTC) was founded to specialize in market demand metrics - demographics, income, wealth, labor and more.

Fast forward to 2021, and the two platforms have merged into one. This single-source platform now provides access to the most robust collection of supply and demand data on the market. Not only that, the platform has released new features, expanding from market and construction analysis to helping healthcare providers find senior housing operators in need of their services.

The combined NIC MAP Vision platform provides a trusted source for all senior housing research, data, and analysis needs. It enables industry stakeholders to make informed decisions for finding and operating in markets that need senior living services. It also delivers the full spectrum of senior housing data and tools to help operators, investors, developers, debt providers, healthcare providers, and other senior housing stakeholders make better-informed decisions.
