The Site Information Report (SIR) allows you to view demographic data based on an address or search location. When searching by address, city, state, county, or ZIP Code a Black Star pin displays on the map to represent your search location.

To view the Site Information Report, click the Black Star pin and then click View Site Information to generate your report. You can also click the View SIR โ†— button in the search box to generate the report.

Please keep in mind the following when using the Site Information Report:

  • Add pins to the map by clicking the options for Show Hospitals, Show Existing Inventory, and Show Construction Inventory.

  • Displaying demographic data is optional.

  • Existing inventory, construction inventory, and hospitals included within the report are located within a 10 mile radius of your selected location.

  • Hospital data is republished by Data.Medicare.gov.

  • The Existing Inventory and Construction Activity tables include a Total Spaces header.

  • Hovering over the Total Spaces header displays a breakdown of spaces by care segment.

  • The Construction Activity table includes a header identifying the number of properties located within a 5 and 10 mile radius.

  • Hovering over the Construction Activity header provides a breakdown of the total properties by construction type (new vs. expansion).

  • Clicking a property name in the Existing Inventory and Construction Activity tables opens in the Property Information Report.

  • Exporting the search results provides access to additional data fields, inclusive of Provider ID.

Please keep in mind when using the demographic data within the Site Information Report:

  • 5 and 10 mile ring data is accessed via an API platform and reflects the most current information available.

  • County and metro demographic data is reflective of data as of the prior year.
