The Trends module in Markets provides access to historical time series data for users with an active NIC MAP subscription. To access the Trends module, click on Markets on the sidebar of the VisionLTC web app homepage, and then select the Trends tab among the four options you have to choose from.

Data can be filtered by Property Type or Community Type; campus type and/or geography, inclusive of national, regional, metro, or county benchmarks. If a filter is not selected for a particular attribute, the Trends data will aggregate all communities who fit within that larger category.

Community Type represents a new categorization where both Memory Care (MC) and CCRC/LPCs are distinct classifications.

The time series is available from 2005 – present for primary markets; 2008 – present for secondary markets and 2015 – present for additional markets.

Historical time series data can be accessed by Property Type or Community Type, which represent different data aggregations. Select the tab representative of the data you want to view, select your filters, and click Display Data to update the charts on the page.

To save your filters, click the Save button near the Filter Properties header. This will save your search filters in a list that you can access later by clicking the “Load” drop-down box and selecting your saved search criteria.

Some charts may display no data when: (1) some data points may not meet the minimum data requirements to be shown, or (2) there may be no properties that meet your selection criteria.

Note: Per our protection requirements, a minimum of four properties from four operators must report data on any particular data point in order for it to be displayed.
