Use the portfolio report task to compare many sites at once.

If you would like to compare multiple sites on a variety of metrics in a list view, run the Portfolio Report Task. This task will convert an analysis that you have previously run into an interactive excel report for easy site or market comparisons.

To obtain the Portfolio Report:

  1. Run an analysis in Vision with multiple sites (Sub-Market Evaluation, Existing Group Evaluation, Nationwide Evaluation).

  2. Once the analysis is complete, navigate to Utilities > Tasks > Portfolio Report.

  3. Give the Task a name, choose your desired analysis in the Analysis dropdown box, then click Run Task.

  4. When the task is done processing, click Download from the My Tasks window.

Once you have download the Excel report:

  • To change the market area around your target sites, click the drop-down in cell C12 beside the “Select Buffer” label.

  • To change the metrics in row 18, click any cell in row 18 and scroll through the drop-down to choose your desired metric.

  • To change the value of all markets displayed in row 17, click any cell in row 16 and choose average, sum, or median in the drop-down.

To add metrics to the report, follow the steps below:

  1. Highlight the entire column to the left of where you would like to insert the new metric. Right click and select “Copy.” Right click again and select “Insert Copied Cells.”

  2. Click into the cell in row 18 of your new column and select your desired metric. The data will automatically refresh.
