The Competition Report Task creates a list of all supply properties within each site and market area combination of any completed analysis in your portal in a single csv file. The data in this export includes but is not limited to: basic community information, bed counts, profit status, transaction data, tax value, median income/net worth of residents, average online review scores, and building-level Medicare Data.

NOTE: There are a few limitations on running the Competition Report Task. The task will fail if you run the task on an analysis with more than 500 sites (Sites = analysis points * number of market areas; 10 address * 3 market areas = 30 sites). Additionally, the Competition Report will fail if you select an analysis that includes REIS data.

To run the task, navigate to Utilities > Tasks > Competition Report. You’ll need to give your Competition Report a name and choose the underlying analysis you wish to receive competition data for. The Competition Report Task only works with completed analyses, so before you can export anything from your portal, you will first need to run an analysis on your desired market area.

When you click the Run Task button, the Task will appear at the top of your My Tasks list immediately adjacent to the search window. When the Task is complete, click download to download the Excel file to your local machine.

The file as presented will contain each field that can be viewed in Explorer Mode when you click on an individual property. This task can be helpful for macro-level supply analysis.
