You may know about the powers of Google Maps Street View, which allows you to view the street locations of almost any address in the world, but did you know that many businesses post pictures of the inside of their building? Explorer has access to all of Google Maps’ Street View features, including the ability to look inside of a variety of senior housing locations without leaving the comfort of your desk. The Google Business View tool, embedded within the Explorer page of VisionLTC, takes you inside the walls of your competition.

How It Works

Any company, for a fee, can hire a Google Trusted Professional Photographer to take photos of the interior of their business. Many senior housing facilities choose to showcase their parlors, common rooms, and dining rooms. These photos are then converted into a full, 360-degree view, virtual tour and integrated with Google Maps. Because the VisionLTC Explorer tool features Google Maps embedded into the analytics platform, many senior housing facilities can be viewed with the click of a mouse.

How to Use It

  1. Select the Explorer tool from the menu on the left side of the VisionLTC platform.

  2. Choose the Analysis you would like to explore in the “Analysis” drop-down.

  3. Select the type of competition data you would like to display in the “Map Data” options panel.

  4. Click the + icon in the lower right corner of the map or scroll with your mouse to expand the map closer to the property you would like to tour.

  5. Click and drag the small orange “Pegman” over the property. If there is a virtual tour available, blue dots will appear around the facility.

  6. Drop the “Pegman” onto the community.

  7. Click the arrows to “walk-through” the property.

  8. Select the back arrow in the upper left of the tour to return to the map.
