VisionLTC allows you to create custom report templates for your analyses. To create, manage/edit, clone, or delete your custom report templates, click on “Utilities” on the Sidebar, then “Templates.” You will see the list of existing report templates and can create new reports. You may create as many report templates as you need, and all reports are shared across your team.

To edit an existing report, click the “Manage” button beside the report name. To copy an existing report into a new template, click the “Duplicate” button. The clone function allows you to create a new report without starting from scratch or altering the existing report. All of these options will lead you to the Report Template Editor.

To delete a report completely, choose “Delete” and then “Remove Template” in the pop-up menu. Report templates are shared across team members, because of this, if you create or delete a report template all your colleagues are affected.

Report Template Editor

To create a new report, click the plus button on the top right side of the screen. This will open a blank template for you to customize. As you add custom sections and metrics, the preview on the right will update accordingly.

Click the “Chart Metrics +” button to add a section that will display metric values as charts. Click the “Metrics +” to add a section that will display the metrics values numerically. Click the “Assumptions +” button to add a section that will display the assumption values you chose in Step 7: Assumptions in the Analysis Wizard.

Give each individual section a name and click the “+ Add Metric” to view the full drop-down list of available metrics in your portal. You can also search the metric name in the “+ Add Metric” box.

To delete a metric, click the small X beside the metric name.

To reorder metrics or whole sections, click and drag the metric or the section to the desired location.

The structure of the columns in the reports will always the remain the same, but you are given the control of the rows with the Report Template Editor.

Once you have finalized your report template, click “Save Template.”

Report Example

To view your templates in action, you will need to run an analysis. Once you’ve run an analysis, click on the “Reports” button to view and print the reports you want to work with. You can also click the down arrow beside “Reports” as a shortcut to download a report.

Click on Details to see the site report and competition report (if applicable) associated with each individual Site. Once you’ve clicked on Details a new screen will appear. Here you can download the PDF version of the site report by clicking on Site Report. If you prefer to have an excel version of this site report, click on Raw Data. You can read more about the types of reports available in the Reports section of the user guide.
